OTO Cabs Driver Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how OTO Cabs (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data of drivers and chauffeurs (“you”) who use the OTO Cabs mobile application and services to provide transportation solutions for Daily Rides, Rental Rides, and Outstation Rides.

• Routes taken during trips

• Call and chat records with riders (masked)
• Cancellation and ride history

3. Purpose of Data Collection

We use your data to:

• Verify identity and onboard you as a registered driver
• Match you with ride requests from customers
• Calculate fare and generate invoices
• Process payments and payouts
• Track rides for safety and navigation
• Manage cancellations and feedback
• Comply with legal and regulatory requirements
• Improve driver training, support, and app features

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

A. With Riders

Note: We do not share your personal contact number directly with customers. All calls are masked via our app system.

You may request account deletion, but residual data may be archived in anonymized or secured form.

7. Driver Rights

8. Specific Service Terms

A. Fare Calculation

Fare is automatically calculated based on:

• Distance traveled
• Duration of ride
• Dynamic pricing, tolls, taxes, and platform fees

Your earnings are calculated net of OTO Cabs’ platform commission and applicable deductions (e.g., GST, cancellations, penalties).

B. Cancellation

If a customer cancels after OTP share or driver arrival, a cancellation fee may be credited to the driver. Repeated cancellations or fraudulent practices may result in account review.

C. Trip Categories

• Daily Ride: Point-to-point travel within city
• Rental Ride: Hourly packages (driver duty for multiple stops)
• Outstation Ride: Long-distance rides (driver allowance, multi-day log)
